Laurie Picinich- Byrd Artistic Director Professional Company Mary Beth Beasley This is Ms. Beasley's sixth season with The Florida Ballet.  She was born in North Carolina.  Her past roles with The Florida Ballet include :  The Girlfriend in "Full Circle"; the Wife in "A Lover's Tale", pas de deux in "Syrinx", Capulet's Executive Assistant in "Romeo and Juliet", Kate in "Taming of the Shrew", Dew Drop Fairy in "The Nutcracker", Lucy in "Dracula" This season Ms. Beasley can be seen as a sister in "Beauty and the Beast" in October; Arabian Variation in "The Nutcracker" in December and "Don Quixote Pas de Deux", "Requiem" and in new ballets by Curtis Williams and Laurie Byrd in the Spectrum concert in April. Jessica Smith This is Ms. Smith's third season as a member of the professional company.  She was born in Jacksonville.  Her past roles include the title role in "Giselle" Act Two,  Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet", Mina in "Dracula", Lead Marzipan in "The Nutcracker", a sister in "Full Circle". This season Ms. Smith can be seen as a sister in "Beauty and the Beast" in October, Sugar Plum Fairy in "The Nutcracker" and "Belong", "Requiem" and two new ballets by Curtis Williams and Laurie Byrd in the Spectrum concert in April.   Curtis Williams Mr. Williams was born in Saratoga, New York.  This is his fourth season with the professional company.  His past roles include the Butler in "A Lover's Tale", Cavalier in "The Nutcracker" , the title role in "Dracula", Mercutio in "Romeo and Juliet", the pas de deux in "Syrinx", the Beast in "Beauty and the Beast". This season he can be seen as as suitor in "Beauty and the Beast", Arabian Variation in "The Nutcracker" and "Don Quixote Pas de Deux", "Requiem" and a new ballet by Laurie Byrd in the Spectrum concert in April.  He will also choreograph a new ballet for that concert.
